Office Equipment Specialists, Capital Document Solutions, has secured a raft of contracts within education establishments, with a combined value of more than £3million.

The company, which employs more than 220 people across Scotland, has been awarded supply and service contracts from the Western Isles to Fife with some of the biggest institutions in the country after demonstrating its capability to implement cost-effective copy, print and scan solutions.

Capital will supply North East Scotland College (Nescol) with 65 items of reprographic and document solutions equipment across its campuses in Aberdeen, Peterhead and Fraserburgh.

The University of St Andrews awarded Capital a contract to supply managed print services in addition to an existing contract.

Capital’s expertise will also now be used across the University of the Highlands and Islands, showcasing their solution first at the new £40million state-of-the-art Inverness College UHI campus before rolling out to a further four campuses across the region, as well as the university’s executive office. The company will supply around 150 multifunctional devices along with fixed and mobile print management software to the university.

Combined, the total value of these education contracts is in excess of £3million and highlights the company’s ability to work across a range of sectors and overcome the significant geographical challenges thanks to its sales and service bases in key strategic locations.

Tom Flockhart, managing director of Capital Document Solutions, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded these contracts with some of the biggest and best known educational establishments in Scotland. These wins demonstrate the depth and spread of our staff experience and skills to cover a range of client requirements.

“Having regional offices in key locations across Scotland allows us to have the infrastructure in place to deal with local and national client requests in a timely, cost-effective and environmentally efficient manner.”
