HOE celebrates new public and private sector success stories

HOE celebrates new public and private sector success stories
Reading Time: 3 minutes

The following article about Highland Office Equipment’s success stories was recently published.

The success stories article is reproduced by kind permission of SPP Media’s Executive Magazine. It was published along with the news – Inverness expansion as HOE plans for further growth.

HOE’s recent successes include a major contract with Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) to replace print devices as far away as the Western Isles and Shetland.

SNH is just one of many large organisations, both in the public and private sector, which have become loyal and returning clients. Other recent contracts have seen HOE as part of the Capital Document Solutions group, provide new equipment for Skills Development Scotland and Scottish Enterprise, while its client list includes well known names such as LifeScan Scotland, Springfield Properties, the University of the Highlands and Islands and Baxters of Fochabers.

HOE’s clients come in all sizes. Whether a small independent firm, a national agency or part of an international business, all are guaranteed the same level of service and support.

“What has also driven growth is our relationship with our clients and our renowned high standards of service. We have a local service centre. So when you call us, you will speak to one of our Highland based work controllers,” Alex said.

“All our logistics and servicing is also done from Inverness. So you are always guaranteed to speak to someone locally for all of your servicing needs. We also have resident engineers based around the region including in Caithness and the Western Isles. This ensures same day service in these more remote areas.”

Long established in the Highlands and Islands, HOE is part of Capital Document Solutions. Capital are Scotland’s largest independent supplier of office equipment and workplace technology. This enables the provision of a Scotland-wide coverage with branches in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen alongside HOE’s presence in Inverness and Lerwick.

Having a 45-year legacy of supplying the markets top products complimented with outstanding service and support might be a key component of the firm’s continued success, however Alex is well aware this would count for little if the business failed to move with the times.

“We are in a constantly changing industry. People are embracing new office technology and printing less,” Alex explained.

“We are evolving too. We have increasingly been positioning ourselves as a document solutions provider, and not solely looking at a business’s traditional printing and copying requirements.”

HOE can also help businesses reduce the environmental impact of the modern office, an area where HOE is leading by example.
