18 members of staff from Highland Office Equipment will be climbing Ben Nevis on Saturday 28th May to raise funds for MFR Cash for Kids.
The Ben Nevis challenge will see Team HOE conquer the highest mountain in the British Isles. In one day they will be helping to fund research for sick babies and children. They will reach the UK’s highest point as the tip of the mountain stands at 1,344 meters above sea level.
Cash for Kids is the official charity of Moray Firth Radio. It provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children around the Highlands, Moray and also Aberdeenshire.
Each year they hope to raise money towards grants to children’s charities, individuals and also many other causes throughout the MFR transmission area.
All the money raised is spent locally and goes to children and young people under 18 throughout the region, with mental, physical or sensory disabilities, with behavioural or psychological disorders, living in poverty or situations of deprivation, suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
